I Placed with all three of my entries!!!

So today I went to show.I placed 24th and 58th with my rabbits. My baked goods got 1st place but I am going to sell my rabbits in the auction.  I hope that someone will come and bid on me. I had lots of fun raising the rabbits. It was very cold today and I stood by my rabbits the entire time. It was hard to know what the judge was doing while she was judging. She was using toys and erasers to put by the cages. My dad did not even know what she was doing.

I am looking for a few good homes for my bunnies. My parents will not let me keep them. :(

The auction is tomorrow, Saturday and it starts around 10, i think. I am looking forward to celebrating with my family.

I told my dad I want to raise rabbits one more year and then raise a sheep when I am 10.  That's all for now, thanks for reading.

Shannon's Brownie Offer

From Shannon's dad... To those who have commented that they would like brownies...getting them to you in an undamaged manner may be a challenge. I think she is preparing to make 3 batches this Monday and Tuesday and then we will work on getting some to you. For anyone who has not already expressed an interest in brownies...time has run out. Anymore brownies made will be for me :)

Rain...Rain...go away

Rain rain go away come again another day. My practice batch of brownies wasn't level at all. I think it is because of the rain. I made them for Omie's birthday party.  I know unckle Levi likes to sneak the brownies! I caught him.

The rain has made it yucky for me to take care of the rabbits. I am still going outside three times a day to take care of the rabbits. Water and feed takes up most of the time. I am excited about the show this Friday. If you want to come watch me or bid on my rabbits that would be great. I will be looking for someone to keep them since my dad says I can't keep them all. I know I show my rabbits and brownies on Friday, but I will ask my mom or dad when the auction is.

Weighing the rabbits

Ok, so dad and I have been working with the rabbits everyday.   I wil try to get mom to take some pictures so that I can put them up here.  They have lots of fur that comes out when we work with their fur. dad says its good for them to lose the old fur. I hope its not like dad's hair, his falls out and does not grow back. Haha very funny!I go out every day three times. Even I go out when it is freeezing cold. I have eight rabbits I named them Twitch,Nosey,Abby,bengamin,benny,Cutey,Fluffy,and Mittens.  Dad says they need to gain more, so pray they eat a bunch.  I hope I place with them.

Buying the mmmm good brownie supplies

 Mom and I went to Wal-Mart January 12th .We had fun finding the ingredients for my baked goods entry. It's top secret so I can't tell you what I bought! Haha! We looked for carmel for a long time. They like to hide it I think. We bought extra cause Dad likes to make it disappear! I also went to pick up the special container that I have to use for the show. I plan to make a practice batch on Friday to take to Omie's Birthday party. I know Uncle Chad likes to make it disappear too! I will have to spy on everyone and see how their face looks when they taste it to know if I need to keep practicing!  And I love shopping with my Mom.!

About my baked good entry.

I really like to cook and bake. This year my mom and Omie helped me pick out my project. I am baking Brownie Caramel Pecan bars. They have lots of chocolate in them.  The first time I made it was for my Omie's new Year's party. People started commenting on how good it was and the old ladies said they really liked it, and I know I will do well, if the they liked it.  My uncle Chad ate the most I think. 

I liked making them.  My mom is a great helper. She tells me if I am about to make a mistake. My mom won't eat them becuase they have pecans in them. But my dad says they are pretty good.

My pesky little brothers did  not even try them.  If you want to order some, just call my parents. I need the practice making them.
